NEW YORK - On August 7 at about 8 pm, a female worker surnamed Li was found lying dead on the ground outside Foxconn's Zaofu Apartments in Zhengzhou, China.  The cause of death is currently unclear. Apartment security guards and local public security blocked off the area. A witness said that relatives of the deceased set up a tribute at the apartment gate. China Labor Watch (CLW) has confirmed the above information with multiple sources.

On August 6, CLW reported that a male worker jumped off a building to his death only four days before Li was found dead. Soon afterward Foxconn publicly confirmed the death of the male worker.
